How to play EUROJACKPOT
Pick 5 numbers and 2 Euro numbers
On each column you mark 5 numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Euro numbers from 1 to 12. There is also a random pick option if you prefer not to choose yourself.
Decide on a system or multi-draw
A ticket holds up to 6 columns. Full and standardized systems let you play more numbers across all combinations, and the same ticket can enter up to 54 consecutive draws.
Pay at the store
Each column costs €2.50. In Greece EUROJACKPOT is played through the OPAP retail network, with entries closing at 20:00 on draw days.
Wait for the draw
Draws take place in Helsinki on Tuesdays and Fridays after 21:00 Greek time, and results are announced the same evening.
Check your ticket
In Greece the game has 13 prize categories: you win even with 1 correct number plus 1 Euro number. The higher up the ladder, the bigger the prize.
Prize categories and EUROJACKPOT odds
EUROJACKPOT has 12 shared European categories plus a 13th category exclusive to Greece. The key odds are shown in the table. Your overall chance of winning any prize is about 1 in 7.25.
| Category | Correct pick | Odds |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 5 + 2 Euro | 1 in 139,838,160 |
| 2nd | 5 + 1 Euro | 1 in 6,991,908 |
| 3rd | 5 | 1 in 3,107,515 |
| 4th | 4 + 2 Euro | 1 in 621,503 |
| 6th | 3 + 2 Euro | 1 in 14,125 |
| 8th | 2 + 2 Euro | 1 in 985 |
| 12th | 2 + 1 Euro | 1 in 49 |
| 13th (Greece only) | 1 + 1 Euro | 1 in 9 |
Categories 1 to 12 are pari-mutuel (the prize is shared among winners), while the Greek 13th category pays EUR 2.50. The roughly 1 in 32 probability applies only to the 12 shared categories.
How the jackpot works
The jackpot always starts at €10 million and grows with every draw it goes unclaimed, up to the €120 million cap. The announced amount belongs to the category, rather than each winner separately. Check the official prize table for the actual amount and number of successes in a particular draw.
The 1st category requires 5 correct numbers and 2 correct Euro numbers. When nobody wins, the amount rolls over to the next draw and keeps growing.
EUROJACKPOT in Greece
Greece has an additional 13th category: matching 1 main number and 1 Euro number pays €2.50. A table for another country may list only the 12 shared categories and omit this prize.
Tuesday and Friday draws appear in the Lucky Play app immediately after they happen, along with the history of past results and search by draw number.
